Professional Overview
My wide range of experience over the years has given me a unique perspective and a variety of skills and knowledge to help my clients in many different situations. I have been in clinical practice for 15 years as a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). I worked as a social worker for the County of Orange for 16 years helping families in crisis. I addressed family problems and served as an advocate for children in the Juvenile court system. I currently serve on the Orange County Superior Court as a custody evaluator, reunification therapist, mediator and special master. I have also worked as a teacher in California for the Public and private school systems. I have taught at the elementary, adult high school and university levels. I currently teach Court approved parenting classes at my office in Newport Beach. In my private practice I see individuals, couples, families and children. I utilize the Jungian school of though while helping my clients. I specialize in the following areas:
